Workers' Comp Attorney

Our client, a cutting-edge law firm specializing in workers’ compensation defense, is seeking a dedicated Workers' Comp Attorney to join their team. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely from locations such as the Central Valley, Fresno, and beyond. 

As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will work in a primarily remote environment, with as-needed travel for meetings, depositions, and appearances.

Daily Objectives

• Manage the WC defense process from inception through resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation
• Work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators
• Utilize attorney-led technology built for WC cases, including AI-driven solutions
• Take and defend depositions
• Advocate for clients at hearings, mandatory settlement conferences, and trials

Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of WC experience (applicant or defense side)
• Active license and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Juris Doctorate degree
• Strong research, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Commitment to proactive case management
