Associate Litigation Attorney - Commercial

A boutique law firm based in Dallas, TX, dedicated to providing high-quality legal services in professional liability defense, commercial litigation, and transactional matters, is looking for an Associate Litigation Attorney.

Position Overview

An Associate Litigation Attorney with approximately 2-3 years of commercial litigation experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Attorney who is eager to grow, receive hands-on training, and work alongside seasoned attorneys on complex cases and transactions. Transactional and general business experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and professional liability defense.

• Assist in handling administrative law professional liability and product liability defense cases.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and legal agreements.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations.

• Support transactional matters such as contract drafting, negotiations, mergers, and acquisitions.

• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.

• Foster and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

• 2-3 years of experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, or product liability.

• Transactional experience is a plus.

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
