SAP Application Support Specialist (Bilingual Korean/English)

📍 Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ

Hybrid role, 3 days in office.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Support Specialist to join the support team of a global leader in consumer electronics and technology solutions. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and system analysis within a complex SAP S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 Voice of Customer (VOC) support for end users operating on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

  • Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot user-reported issues, escalating when necessary.

  • Review source code and system configurations to assist in identifying root causes.

  • Collaborate with IT, SAP functional, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Clearly communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Document issues, interactions, and resolutions following established support processes.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance user satisfaction and support efficiency.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of software development experience (VB, C#, Java, or similar technologies).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex source code.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English.

  • Familiarity with SAP environments (S/4HANA preferred) and RDBMS systems such as Oracle, MS SQL, or MariaDB.

  • Understanding of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes.

  • High degree of professionalism, accountability, and organizational ability.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a client-facing technical support or application support role.

  • Hands-on exposure to SAP development or configuration activities.

  • Background in database modeling or system integration.
